This blog really is all about you, the reader. On our blog Home page, it states:
“I’m hoping to shed light on relevant issues and create a forum where we can discuss solutions. This blog will let you know about events taking place that may help you find new customers and prospects, discuss some emerging trends that could have an impact on your business, and create a dialogue that will help all benefit mutually from our individual experiences.” – (italics added)
As such, we see you as our sponsors. You don’t pay in dollars and cents, but in the currency of your time, input, and faithfulness in following what we share. That’s no small expense, and we very much appreciate the confidence you place in us.
We want to make sure that anything we publish is relevant to you, so that we bring value every time you stop and read our articles. Your time is precious, and you’ll only spend that time on something worthwhile.
Additionally, we want to create dialogue, not just between the author of an article and our readers, but also between you readers as well. Your collective experience is invaluable, and we hope to tap into that by getting you to open up and share what’s on your mind. This is your chance to do so in ways that will directly impact future articles.
How’re We Doing?
Edward I. Koch, former Mayor of New York City, used to openly ask “How’m I doing?” He understood that feedback was necessary for positive growth. We feel the same. So we’ve created a few polls that will let us know what’s working and, more importantly, what isn’t:
Hopefully you had some fun with the polls, and we look forward to the feedback they’ll provide!
What’s on Your Mind?
Now you get to tell us what you want to read about in future articles. In case you need to get the creative juices flowing, here are a few areas to consider:
- Health care and my business
- Recent labor rulings
- Protecting my business
- Customer service/Customer experience
- Insurance and my business
- Leveraging Technology
- Leveraging Social Media
- Getting customers
- Keeping customers
- Optimizing my existing website
- Developing a website
- Business plans
- Marketing plans
- Anything else that keeps you up at night
Post your ideas in the Comment section below. Don’t worry about whether or not someone else posted something similar. The more often we see an issue is an indication of how relevant it is to the majority of people. Also, you can present more than one topic. Just be sure to clearly separate them so we realize there are two distinct, well expressed subjects and not one somewhat convoluted idea we have to decipher. It makes it easier for everybody. Finally, be as specific as possible. We’ve already written about some of the topics above, such as customer experience. However, is there a specific aspect of the customer experience you provide that you want explored? Being as focused as possible insures that we address your needs, not just present generalities.
It’ll be exciting to see what’s on your minds!
